       Anrui and I met every day at the same spot. We were able to laugh together and find peace within each other. We both knew that the other had gone through a lot of terrible things in life, but instead of estranging ourselves from one another, we just grew closer to each other.       Anrui was completely wild.        One wild day, after ransacking two merchants' charts and dismissing the rest of the gang, we celebrated, just me and her. *If you've ever seen or read Naruto before, you're probably going to recognize the next few scenes because I wanted to demonstrate how Gaara feels during the Yahsamaru incident after losing Anrui. He's just been robbed of his best friend, and finally finds someone else to love him, but that turns out to be a false front. The locals called it the Forest of Nightmares.        They said that your worst nightmares and fears came true during the night. Your loved ones died before your eyes, and you had no power to stop their deaths. You were tortured to the brink of death every night, but every morning you were revived. It was rumored that monsters stalked the night in the forest, killing every single living thing that they came in contact with.         I could see the predators' night eyes reflected in the light of my small fire. I counted at least four, no five, creatures that I could not identify. The pack of wild animals had stalked me tirelessly since the very moment the sun had set.        It was my first night in the forest and luckily, I was able to start a fire before they could attack. The fire kept them a relatively safe distance away. Even if I did have my sand, I didn't want to be attacked by a creature that I wasn't familiar with.        If the creatures didn't disperse by morning, I would go on the offensive, I decided. The forest was eerily quiet, as if waiting.
